Candidates preparing for CA must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by ICIA to apply for the exam. ICIA reserves the right to reject the application if the candidate does not fulfill the prescribed qualifications. The eligibility prescribed for applying for the CA IPCC exam is mentioned below-
- Candidates who have traditionally studied 10+2 must clear the CA Foundation exam conducted by an official regulator or a parallel exam conducted by the government
- To join IPCC directly, candidates having graduation or post graduation in commerce must have minimum 55% marks or candidates having graduation or post graduation in any discipline parallel to commerce must have minimum 60% marks.
- Students studying in the final year of graduation degree can also take admission at IPCC level but they have to submit degree completion documents within 6 months of admission. If the candidate fails to submit the proper documents, his/her registration is liable to be canceled without refund of any fee.
CA IPCC: Exam Pattern
There are 7 subjects in CA IPCC which are divided into 2 groups. Group 1 consists of 4 subjects while Group 2 consists of 3 subjects. The weighting of the papers is different and the minimum marks for qualifying in each subject is 40 out of 100 and students have to qualify the papers as well as the entire group. Take it to the next level. For Group 1, candidates have to obtain minimum 200 marks and for Group 2, 150 marks.

CA IPCC Syllabus
The syllabus of CA IPCC exam is designed in such a way that the skills and knowledge related to accounting of the candidate can be tested. For this exam, 7 subjects are divided into 2 groups. CA IPCC Registration
Whether you want to clear CA IPCC or Intermediate exam in May or November 2022, it will be necessary for the candidates to register for the same a few months in advance.
