Students in Finland to pay €73.60 for healthcare services from next year

The Finnish government has said that students using health services in Finland will have to pay €73.60 for the service, or €36.80 each semester in 2023.

The government had issued a decree announcing the change in health fees for students on 17 November 2022.

The fee for making the payment after the due date or not attending the appointment will remain the same as per the statement of the government. And this change will also improve the access to health services.

The following year, the late payment fee for students or the fee for an unattended appointment will remain €5-40 respectively.

“Their right to use the services of the Finnish Student Health Service will continue as before,” the government said.
